No matter when your due date is or how big or small your measuring, all babies have a plan of their own when it comes to their Birthday.

This sweet baby girl picked a pretty darn good Birthday if you ask me. She already has many firsts because of it. She was born on the first day, of the first month of the New Year, she was the first baby girl born at St. Joe’s hospital in 2011, and was also the first newborn to come through my studio this year. And it’s just one day after her Mommy, yep that’s right, mom’s birthday is New Year’s Eve. I can just imagine how much this family is going to celebrate next year for New Years 🙂

On the date that I photographed this sweet baby girl she wasn’t even due yet, how crazy is that!!??!! And mom totally called it, when we were getting to know one another better during her maternity session, she mentioned that she had a feeling her baby was coming in a couple of days, she was bang on, only 2 days after her session her new addition arrived.

I am so honored that you trusted in me to capture these two amazing milestones in your life. Congratulations once again on your beautiful, sweet, precious little girl. Enjoy every moment with her.

Becky and Mike, she is so beautiful. I watched the slide show over and over again. I think my favourite is the very fist one on the white blanket. You must be in love, I know I am and I haven’t even met her yet! Congratulations.
