This babe has a ton of facial expressions! At 3 months he’s mastered the scowl of the eyebrow, and boy does he look cute when he pulls this face. I could just gobble him up!
When he arrived he was mighty tired. After travelling from Calgary he was ready for some much needed sleep, which would have been perfect for a newborn session. However, when working with babes over 2 months, they no longer curl up into those sweet poses, so the goal is to capture those great big eyes, wide open to see the world, trying to catch a glimpse of a smile, and of course their plump fingers and toes!
We started this session off in the rustic outdoors before heading back to the studio for his close up. He got through the outdoor portion without so much as a whimper, and I must say, I was shocked. Not a peep came out of his mouth. I think he’s going to be a very outdoorsy kind of guy. He was just so calm and relaxed out there. We didn’t get many smiles out of his sweet little face, but with him being so tired, he was a absolute treat to work with.
Thank you “mom and dad” for allowing me the pleasure of meeting and working with your new little treasure. He is an adorable boy, through and through. I look forward to travelling out to you when he’s a little bit older, seeing how much he’s changed, and documenting those changes on a truly gorgeous backdrop, the mountains!!
May your week here in Ontario be filled with family, fun, friends, and a whole lot of relaxation. After the way your trip started you deserve it!
Enjoy your peak!
