He was their first born, and maybe not of the human form, but none the less, he was their baby.
As their family grew he became a protector and playmate of their three beautiful children. He is very much a member of this family, who is extremely loved.
This family reached out to me to photograph their family for one very important reason. Their sweet fur baby is being called upon from above. His time here on earth is coming to an end and the need to document their family, as an entire unit, was very important to them.
It was a lovely session, and not of the somber nature at all. Instead, we joked, and laughed, and giggled while he fetched sticks out of the water, and simply lay close to his loved ones.
Life, of all forms, is to be celebrated, and this family did just that, by capturing their family, one last time, before they must say farewell to their precious fur baby.
May he be free from pain and leave your hearts full of love and appreciation.
