I absolutely love capturing families in their homes.  Their personal environments always allow them to feel totally at ease and their natural interactions simply shine through effortlessly!

This adorable family was just that, at ease, and the fact that their home is so incredibly gorgeous and they styled themselves to suit the space, it was every photographers dream I tell you!!

One of my favourite things about going into a new space is discovering the light.  As you may be aware I use light to help tell a story, and the light that was flowing into the baby’s nursery was oh so soft and directional.  It allowed the smallest little pocket to sit right on the chair, and when it came time for him to have his bottle, I was a little giddy with the dramatic light that came into focus.  An intimate moment between Mom and her son captured in a way that allows it to stay intimate.

I can’t thank you enough Mom and Dad, for welcoming me into your beautiful, cozy home and being so open and genuine with me!  I loved capturing your family and all the love that is shared between the four of you!!
