I’ve noticed lately that most of my favourite images from my personal work are the side profiles of my children. I feel as though this angle shows their facial changes the most as time passes. I definitely enjoy a variety of different angles, as you will likely notice in my work, but the profile is certainly my favourite!
This is also very much the case when it comes to my newborn work. The side profile of a baby is always documented, and always adored, in every single newborn session that I photograph.
This beautiful boy offered up a ton of angles as he enjoyed every single prop he was placed in. For me, that’s a dream, because no matter what I have in mind heading into a newborn session, the baby will always determine the direction that it takes. His direction was full of options 🙂
