Winter Wonderland | Burlington Photographer

I’ve had many inquires lately about Winter sessions, and while it’s not my favourite time of the year it certainly is beautiful when we have snow, which we have plenty of this year.

Due to the overwhelming amount of interest in these sessions I’ve put together a Winter Wonderland Promotion. The sessions will be booked on a first come, first serve basis and will take place on the eve of, or the morning after a snowfall.

When booking please note that you must be available at either 4:00pm on the eve of snowfall, or at 9:00am the morning after a snowfall.

Sessions are 45 minutes in length and include a private online viewing gallery and 10 digital files of your choice, with an option to add on the same 10 images as 5X5 Art Prints for an extra $100.

If you’d like to be reminded of these sessions, simply comment below (again, first come first serve) and I will email you privately when we have news of more snow coming our way.

In home lifestyle sessions are becoming a fast favourite of mine, and while we’re on the eve of a New Year all I can seem to think is I hope I book more of these fun, cozy sessions in the year to come. What I love most about them is the fact that children seem to act most natural in their own environment, and also, the candid approach allows us to have oodles of fun together, and well, who doesn’t love to have FUN!!

I spent a little over and hour with these two, and the variety of images that we managed to capture during this time shows both of their individual personalities, as well as their connection with one another. Big sister pulled out all the stops to make her little brother laugh and smile, and she not only succeeded in that, but also had Mom and I laughing a good bit as well.

Thank you young friends, for allowing me into your beautiful home, to capture you both individually and together. I loved watching the two of you interact and documenting you in your own space. I hope to one day have the pleasure of working with you again ~ to see how you’ve changed, to document such change, and to share in more laughs.

Mom, I hope you love this peek of your beautiful children and I look so forward to sharing more with you soon!

Easy Peezy | Burlington Newborn Photographer

This beautiful baby boy made my job look and feel so incredibly easy peezy, and I’ll let you in on a little secret, it’s not 😉

Newborns can be very difficult subjects to photograph for obvious reasons, but there are also technicalities that come into play when working with these tiny new people as well.

Anyways, let’s not get into that, because I simply have too much gushing to do about this baby boy. Not only is he totally beautiful, he also has the sweetest demeanour about him ~ so calm, content, and happy! He slept through his entire session, and hardly even stirred when I moved him into different, adorable positions. His timing was actually pretty perfect as well, as right when we finished photographing him, he woke to eat, and gave me a little glimpse at his eyes ~ oh how I love to gaze into dreamy newborn eyes, it’s so hypnotizing sometimes.

As you can imagine, he was an absolute dream to work with, and I very much enjoyed his and his lovely Mother’s company in the studio.

I hope you enjoy your peek, and I also hope that sweet demeanour of his sticks around his entire life!
