I love the fact that our Christmas card sessions take us to many different locations. Not only does the variety of scenery keep me on my toes, but it also allows for so much creativity. I find that going to the same location over and over again can get very mundane and eventually starts to show throughout the images. This is one of the many reasons why I don’t shot back to back sessions at the same location. I can not imagine having to edit a variety of different families in the exact same location. Ugh, just the thought of it makes me feel bored.
Also, if you haven’t already noticed, our Christmas sessions don’t have much of the Christmas vibe in them, totally intentional by the way 😉 We like to add the feel of Christmas to the cards themselves, and allow you to have images that could be showcased around your home throughout the year. It’s a win/win right!
Okay, enough about my thoughts, how about we move on to this gorgeous family…….I get the pleasure of seeing them in early November every year, and it marks the start of their holiday celebrations. To know that their session with me has become somewhat of a tradition for them just puts this ginormous smile on my face and the fact that their son said to me just as we were parting ways “see you next November 1st” well you can just imagine what that did to my heart, yup it melted all right!
I love seeing your family! I love being a part of your tradition! And I love to get to know you all a little more every time I see you!
