Coordination is key when styling a newborn session, at least for me it is! With a variety of props, including blankets, wraps and hats, there is nothing better then when a session has a lovely flow throughout all the images.
When running a boutique photography studio, and selling fine art products, this cohesive flow really stands out and allows for stunning albums to be created.
Okay, enough about my style, now may we please pause for a moment and take in this baby’s beauty. He is simply stunning, from that adorably quirky hair line right down to those tiny little toes. Not only is he a gorgeous baby boy, but he is happy right to his very core. It’s evident in the way he cozied right up into those poses, and showed us his beautiful smile.
It was an absolute treat to meet and photograph this sweet boy! Thank you Mom, for allowing me the great pleasure!!

I don’t typically title my blogs with children’s names, however, her name is just too sweet not to share, and it totally suits her too!!
Meet little Ms. Carter Mae. Isn’t she such a darling little girl!
I’ve known her Mommy for quite some time now. Both of my children were lucky enough to have her teach them, and she has made an incredible impression on them over the years.
When I got news of her expecting her first born, I wanted nothing more then to document her babies new life. I can not thank you enough Ashley, for allowing me the great pleasure of photographing Carter Mae. For trusting in me to document her early days and hopefully creating images that you will cherish forever.
Having you in my studio was so wonderful! You are so well suited for Motherhood!! May you enjoy every moment of it!

I said this over, and over, and over again during their session, and even still now while I edit……..this little girl should be a model!!
Not only does she have the prettiest little face for it, but she’s also got an insanely gorgeous head of hair, the perfect profile, and her personality, my goodness, would you sign her up already Mom and Dad 😉 No, but seriously, she loves to be in front of the camera and is totally a natural. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if one day I saw her in a fashion magazine.
What a treat for me to meet and photograph this playful bunch!! The three of you are totally photogenic, and your sweet personalities just add so much to these photographs.
I hope you enjoy your images just as much as I enjoyed capturing them!!

I’m honestly completely speechless. Jay can probably attest to the fact that this doesn’t happen often. Lol. These are the most beautiful images I have ever seen. We are so thankful we found a photographer to not only have the ability to capture these precious moments but to have as much fun as we did in the process. You have a gift and I truly hope to retain you as our official photographer for all future children (soon I hope), life events and everything in between.

Preparing for a session for an eight day old vs. an eight week old is very different. While most eight day olds are like putty in your hands, eight week old sessions are an entirely different ball game.
I prepared for this little darling to be awake, and good thing I did, because she loved to be awake, checking out her surroundings and totally following me around with her gorgeous big blue eyes. She was so alert, so focused, and so entertaining. Her interactions felt more like that of a three month old. She is just totally amazing!!!!
I love the variety that this session resulted in! At eight weeks fresh she was an incredible and completely adorable little model.
Many congratulations again Mom and Dad, on this beautiful new addition to your sweet family!
