Ahhhh the orchard, how I love thee so!

This location is a photographers dream ~ with all the leading lines and pops of colour, it’s so appealing to the eye. Add in a gorgeous, playful family, and the perfect Fall sunset, and let me tell you, the result is dreamy, dreamy, dreamy!!

Not only do I now have the pleasure of editing this beautiful session, I will also be custom designing Christmas cards for this family. I’m envisioning an off white base, with hints of gold, ohhhhh boy the excitement I tell you…..hardly containable!!!

Fall weather can sometimes be rather challenging to work with. While it’s beautiful to watch the leaves changing colours, we do tend to get a good amount of rain.

On this particular day, it was gloomy gloomy gloomy, all day long. Mom and I went back and forth for a good portion of the day trying to decide if we could make it work (as overcast skies do produce some beautiful light and scenery). In the end we gave it a go, and I could not be more happy that we did. Literally 5 minutes into the session the sun came out, right at the perfect height too, and created this stunning glow, that most Fall sunsets offer.

Not only did it lift our spirits, it also made for a rather beautiful session!!

Thank you for your patience and willingness to give it a go Mom. It certainly paid off for us 🙂

Double Dose | Burlington Lifestyle Photographer

This family has many, many, many celebrations the month of September, so why not have a birthday party for both of their sweet boys on the same day. Sounds as though it could be a rather difficult task, doesn’t it? Well, not for this mamma, the mix of her boys interests were perfectly connected!!

I’ve never seen a double dose of Birthdays mixed so well together. Their youngest has a love of animals, and their eldest likes tractors and trucks ~ makes for the perfect mix of parties wouldn’t you agree?!?! Que the ponies and we’ve got the most magical day for all the children involved.

My hats off to you Mom and Dad, for putting together a wonderful day in celebration of your precious boys.

I very much enjoyed documenting this special day with you, and I thank you and your family for all the warm welcomes that came my way!
