I’m so super bummed to say that September was definitely my worst month for this 365 challenge.

I don’t know if it was the adjustment of back to school, and creating a new routine that works for our family or what, but I totally fell off the band wagon this month. And while I did capture an image almost every day, sadly, plenty were captured with my iPhone, which, don’t get wrong, I absolutely love to use for photographs, but it kind of defeats the purpose of this challenge.

Anyways, enough of my sap story right 🙂 I’m back on track with October and I’m going to make it a brilliant month, with my favourite day to day images yet ~ you can quote me on that too if you like!!!

and so, I leave you headed into the weekend, with a peek at our daily life in September, boy has it ever been a whirlwind…….

Restless | Burlington Newborn Photographer

To say this babe was restless may be an understatement ~ he was full of energy and wanted nothing to do with closing those beautiful eyes of his. He was in deed a challenge, and one that I enjoyed very, very much!

All babies are different and that’s the wonderful thing about them. I never know what to expect when welcoming a precious newbie into the studio, and that my friends, is what keeps this line of work exciting for me. If it were the same process every single day, let me tell you, I would be bored out of my mind.

I truly enjoyed the amount of time I got to hold him in my arms, snuggle him close, and stare at his sweet little face.

We managed to drift him off to dream land for a very short period of time towards the end of the session, and that was all we needed to complete his session.

Thank you for sharing your sweet boys with me Mom ~ I hope the later part of the day gave you some much needed rest 😉

Fun | Burlington Children Photographer

This session was full of enjoyment, amusement, and lighthearted pleasure ~ simply put it was FUN!!!

Little Ms. was full of energy and had nothing but smiles and silly phrases for me. Her baby brother was thrilled to follow her around and share in her enjoyment, with a few stumbles and choo choo train movements along the way.

In all, we had an absolute blast! Just look at those sweet little faces, so full of happiness, that truly says it all!

Simply Baby | Oakville Baby Photographer

I adore these simply baby sessions! Typically taking place around 6-9 months, when your baby can almost sit unattended, and are not yet crawling ~ these sessions are focused on your baby and his/her funny little personalities, their sweet facial expressions and simply them, who they are today!

This darling little girl was a blast to photograph, leaving mom and I plenty to giggle over while she tried to sooth herself with chewing anything she could get her hands on. Gosh I just love this stage so much! I swear, if they stayed this small and playful, I would have a house full 😉

It’s amazing to see your beautiful baby girl growing. I adore her darling personality and look forward to seeing her plenty more over the years!!
