Copper is by far one of my favourite tones to work with.  Sadly not as many people are with me on that, but this mamma loved it!!  We came to realize that no other colour would be more fitting, and we hadn’t even discussed colours and tones prior to the session ~ sometimes I’m just amazed by the way things work out!!

I have loved to see your family grow ‘Mom and Dad’!  I look so forward to seeing your newest addition blossom over the years, just as your first born has, and hope to document his growth right along side you.

Many happy, warm wishes to all four of you at this special time of year!

This adorably handsome baby boy slept as though he was only a couple of days old, but nope, he was one month by the time I got to meet and photograph him.  I don’t know if I should chalk it up to having a gift with babies, or if he just happened to be really sleepy on this particular day ~ either way, he was so wonderful to work with!

His big sister was also a dream to photograph!  She was more the wiling to hold, hug, kiss, and snuggle her new baby brother, which as I’m sure you all know by now, melts me to my very core.

So lovely to work with you again ‘Mom and Dad’.  Your children are so very sweet and I adored photographing them together.

Hip Hip Hooray, it’s her Birthday!

Turning one is such a wonderful milestone, and I absolutely love documenting it!

My favourite part of this session……the fact that she didn’t want to eat her cake, HA! go figure, a mini cake all to herself and she doesn’t want it ~ fast forward a year, and I’m sure she would devour this sugary delight.

So lovely to work with your beautiful family again ‘mom and dad’!  I love seeing your precious girls growing, and I enjoy our little chats and getting to know you all a little bit more every time I see you 🙂

Per*spec*tive ~ so as to give the right impression of height, width, depth, and position when viewed from a particular point

This session was all about perspective ~ showing that using different angles of the same beautiful, squishy, little baby girl can give an image a completely different feel with the slightest of adjustments.

She was an absolute dream to work with!!  Sleeping almost entirely through the session, when all I wanted to do was hold and snuggle this cheeky little babe.  She is the snuggliest of them all, I kid you not!  It actually makes me rather jealous of her Mom & Dad, knowing they are probably snuggling her at this very moment.

Enjoy your precious girl and I hope you find delight in the perspective used to photograph her beauty!

Oh baby boy, you are so very handsome!  Would you look at how prominent his features are ~ those up-tilted eyes, his adorable nose, and the perfect little peek to his upper lip ~ I could stare at this beautiful little face all day long!!

Not only are his features strong, but so is his tiny little body.  No joke, it was as though he was just going to roll over without any effort.  Now, I have seen plenty of strong babes (I swear they’re putting special strength powers into our pre-natal vitamins) but this little guy takes the cake.  I wouldn’t be surprised if he is sitting up at a mere 4 months of age, and I’m only half joking when I say that 😉

Thank you for sharing your precious baby boy with me ‘Mom and Dad’.  I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know the two of you and hope to have the opportunity to document your sweet boys growth with you over the years.
