These two are quite the pair!  Brother & sister they are ~ connected in the sweetest of ways, with an age gap of 23 years ~ let me tell you, that gap makes for an amazing dynamic between the two of them.  The love shared is so evident and so very heartwarming!

I shot this entire session (okay, maybe not entire, but 95%) wide open and I am totally and completely wowed with the results.  Sounds silly right, a photographer wowed at their own work, but let me tell you why ~ I have never, in my 6 years as a photographer, shot a session including a 2 year old with a wide open aperture.  Newborns, now that’s a different story, I’m almost always wide open from start to finish.  Reason being is there is zero room for error and movement (which we all know 2 year olds have a lot of 😉 ) can get rather tricky.

Either way, it’s a new step for me, and I’m rather proud ~ hence the large peek

It was an absolute pleasure to work with your darling children ‘mom’!  Thank you, so very much, for allowing me the pleasure.

Oh and by the way ~ you may be wondering why I got a little technical there ~ ‘Dad’s a photographer as well, of our lovely land ~ and I figured he’d probably enjoy a little insight as to how the session was photographed.
