First, may I just mention how much I enjoyed photographing your sweet baby boy in your stunning home ‘Mom and Dad’.
I used to shy away from in home newborn sessions as I found it was a ton of work to bring along all my props. But then, I had a shift in perspective, and decided to use my clients home as the scenery rather then oodles of props, and I must tell you, I simply love shooting newborns in their intimate surroundings.
I realized something pretty amazing during this session as well. After spending only a couple of hours photographing this adorable little man, it became clear to me that I felt as though I had known his mom for years. Strange right!?!?! And I don’t know where this feeling came from either. We just simply connected and I felt so very at ease with her.
So ‘Mom’, I thank you, first for welcoming me into your home, secondly for making me feel so at ease with you, and most importantly, allowing me the pleasure of getting to know you. You’re an incredibly sweet person, with a heart of gold. That little man is very lucky to have such a wonderful women as his Mommy!!
