This family was recently blessed with a beautiful baby boy, weighing in at 8 lbs, with a full head of gorgeous black hair. Isn’t he sweet!
On this particular morning it was quite gloomy and wet outside which put us right up against the window. That’s one thing about being a natural light photographer, you’ve got to work with what your given, and find the light. We did just that. With a lot of shimming and me saying “a little closer, a tad bit more” we ended up with some pretty great images.
We struggled a bit at first with keeping babe asleep. Every time I placed him down he would start kicking his legs, stretching his arms, and wiggling out of his snuggly wraps, almost as if to say “I know that’s not a person snuggling me, now pick me up!” and every time I would give in and pick him up, he would be fast asleep in seconds. True signs of a baby that just loves to be held. Eventually we got him down for the count, literally, and worked some quick magic.
