The bond between my children is so beautiful to see. Lolita is so in love with her big brother and is constantly watching him, and when I say constantly, I mean ALL THE TIME. While he’s eating, playing, or even just sitting on the couch watching a movie, her eyes are on him.
Logan is quite smitten with his little sister as well, he loves to make her laugh and will do anything to make it happen. He tickles her or makes a really high pitched squeal which really gets her going, it’s adorable to sit back and watch the two of them (until she starts squealing back and my ears feel like their going to burst).
From the beginning I’ve always asked Logan to give his baby sister a kiss at bedtime and say good morning when she wakes up and I think this has helped him in welcoming her into our family and made it a little easier on him. It has also helped with the way he shows affection for her. I’m a big fan of showing affection for the ones we love and I couldn’t be more thrilled that my little man will out of the blue, lean over and give his sister a kiss, it makes my heart melt and my eyes tear.
I love you my sweet children. I hope you will forever be affectionate and show your love for one another.
