As we get older in our lives, our memories tend to fail us at times. Today as I was cleaning out some old purses I came across this note from my mom. She had left it for me the day I was leaving and moving to Mexico. It brought me right back to that very day and how I felt that first time I read it. I’m so happy that I kept it and was able to travel back today to a very special time in my life.
I plan to write more notes for my children and my husband, leave them around the house for them to find, and hopefully they hold on to them and cherish them and one day be brought back to a special moment in their lives or even give them a memory of me if I am no longer here, as my mother has just done for me today.
Let the ones you love know it, do it often, do it today!!!
