He was 2 weeks old when I had the pleasure of meeting him. This baby boy with his super lush lashes and long fingers and toes kinda made me want to have another baby. But that ship has definitely sailed my friends. This fact makes me even happier to be in the line of work that I am. I still get to be in the presence of new life and enjoy a few hours of snuggle time, and that sweet newborn smell, I mean seriously, I wish we could bottle that up!
When I look back at this particular morning, I’m actually not sure if it was the newborns presence that made me urge for another, or seeing the way his older brother loved on him. It was so incredibly heart warming to watch him caress his new baby brothers head, the way he came and kissed him every few minutes, and the way he ensured I wasn’t going to hurt his new little pal. Gosh, even as I type this it makes me a little teary eyed. To know that this beautiful new soul will be protected by his big bro, THAT is everything!!!
You are absolutely blessed Mom and Dad!! To have two beautiful, healthy boys that will grow and protect one another is just so wonderful!
