Clemente Christmas | Burlington Lifestyle Photographer

Every year we start off our Christmas by going to a local tree farm and cutting down our tree.  This year wasn’t any different….in the beginning that is.

As we trekked through the serious heaps of mud (in my “fancy” flat boots, I must add, which are still covered in mud) we searched and searched for our favorite tree but couldn’t find anything over 5 feet, so we decided to head into the barn for pre-cut tree’s and found, what we thought, was the perfect tree.

We then get it home, have a hard time getting it to stand straight in the base and finally get it up.  We turned on our favorite christmas tones (yes, chipmunk christmas once again) and decorated our tree.  Only to come down stairs early the next morning to see our christmas tree lying on it’s side.

To make a REALLY long story short, my son decorated our tree 3 times this year.  Yes, that’s right, it fell over twice.  But every single time, he turned on his favorite music and got right back to it as though he was doing it for the first time.

Merry Christmas for our family to yours.
