Doppelgänger ~ an apparition or double of a living person.
There’s no better way to describe this baby boy ~ he is his Father’s doppelgänger! I’m talking twins separated by years, he is absolutely, 100%, a double of his proud Dad.
And while I know first hand how hard this is for Mom’s to hear (as I too had a mini version of my husband when my son was born) just take comfort in knowing that if it wasn’t for you, that beautiful little boy wouldn’t be here 😉 I see it as a way of almost comforting the Dad, because in all honesty, they really aren’t that physically involved in having the baby.
Regardless of who he looks like, he will certainly have his own personality, and he is a happy, healthy baby boy. This, right here, is really all that matters when it comes to our precious babies.
