Rain | Binbrook Newborn Photographer

It feel’s like it’s been raining for weeks now.  I know it’s spring but come on now, this is a little overkill don’t you think.  When it rains on days that I’m working with newborns I actually don’t really mind.  The soft light that it creates through my west facing window is beautiful.

On this particular session I actually got “rained” on.  Babe had just finished eating, I removed her diaper and was holding her in a way that her legs where tucked up into my chest, next thing I know, I feel a warm sensation on my stomach and down my leg, HA!!  I know, what a silly thing to do, why would I take off her diaper after she just fed??? my bad!!  Anyways, it made for quite the laugh, and then I was off to quickly to change clothes.

At 7 days new, this adorable baby girl put up a good fight.  She wanted nothing to do with being on her stomach, and everytime I tried to roll her into that position so let me hear it 🙂

In the end we managed to capture some truly great images which is what it’s all about.

Thanks for bearing the heat mom, I hope to next time be able to photograph both of your beautiful girls together.

You are an extremely talented lady Heather. And Pamela – she is just gorgeous and I can understand you being anxious to get your two little ladies together for a photo shoot. Wish I lived closer! LOL Congratulations to all involved!!!

What can a Grandmother say but isn’t McKenzie a precious little baby. I love to just hold her and cuddle.
The pictures are beautiful you feel as though you should reach out and pick her up.
Heather you certainly have a gift with your photography.
I look forward to having photos of my Two Granddaughters taken.
