Would you take a look at these two beauties. They are cousins, by way of their mom’s being sisters. How lucky are they ~ to have two girls, so close in age ~ the only thing separating them is a little distance. One family living in Ottawa, the other in Hamilton, they’re not too far away from each other, but far enough that a rather long car ride is in order to get together.
I was more then honoured when I was asked to photograph both of these lovely little girls individually, as well as together, to mark a big milestone in their lives ~ their first birthdays! And what better way to do so then with some cake 🙂 It was so funny to see both of their reactions to their own personal cakes that they were being asked to ‘smash’. While one of them was thrilled to dip her little fingers in and have a yummy treat, the other wanted absolutely nothing to do with it, too funny!
It was an absolute blast working with both of these families. I hope you had a wonderful visit with each other. Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of working with you at these memorable time’s in your lives.
