It was the first day of summer and the setting sun made that very evident! It was super bright and offered up some gorgeous warm tones for this family’s session. Not only that but it stayed up a little later then what we’re used to, and who doesn’t love a day that stays brighter, longer?!?! This gal certainly does!!
I feel in love with this session as soon as I uploaded the files to my computer and started to dig in. It’s not only the warmth of the images that draws me in, but also the connection that these four share. I absolutely loved how they interacted with each other and allowed me to capture their raw emotion towards each other. It’s no easy to do you know, staying connected to each other in front of the camera when we’ve been wired in a way that makes us want to look at the camera and smile, and the four of you seemed to do it so effortlessly.
I can not thank you enough Mom and Dad, for allowing me to document your family, and for showing me your real family dynamic. I feel as though it made for some truly beautiful images that I hope you will cherish for a lifetime.
