So, I’ve heard recently that the “red” gene is being lost and will soon become non-existent. I personally think that’s a bunch of baloney! Considering that this little peanuts mom has dark brown hair, and dark skin, and dad’s hair is also on the darker side, they were both a little bit shocked when their beautiful baby boy came out with a full head of red hair. The “red” gene is still alive and growing strong in this family, no doubt about it!
They had joked throughout the pregnancy that they may have a red head (passed on from other family members) but never really thought it would happen. How lucky right! There is a super soft spot in my heart for red head’s. I can’t put my finger on why this is, maybe it’s because they are quite rare.
As you can imagine, mom and dad are completely smitten as well. How could you not be!
