I’ve been working with this family for quite a few years now and over the past 2 years when I would see them the question was always, “how is your home coming along”?
Well, this time around when they contacted me for their family photos, the question was “can we do the session in our home”?
YES!!! I was super excited for them, that their home was finally completed, and let me tell you, a dream home it is!! From the gorgeous open indoor space to the cozy, earthy outdoor space, everything was executed to perfection!
Now, as much as I love all the details of this beautiful home, I mean their style is so totally up my ally with the mixture of wood, metal, and loads of natural light, even when I saw all those elements come together so beautifully, it was still the simple fact that Dad built this home with his hands that impacted me the most. The fact that they’ve lived on this property in two very different homes, and this one has been built with love and likely plenty of sweat and tears, that’s the most beautiful part of it all!!
Thanks so much for welcoming me into your home Mom and Dad! It is absolutely gorgeous! May the memories you create within those walls be brilliant ones.
